En dan niet eenmaalig, maar op langere termijn? (focus op hun werk in collectief traject zelf, niet hele praktijk/ helpen met aanvragen, praktische vragen, administratie in relatie tot deze specifieke projecten)

  • Hoe nodigt Jubilee associate kunstenaars uit? Op basis van welke criteria? -Argument voor langere termijn met mensen werken ipv voor meer mensen opportuniteiten genereren -Zijn open calls mogelijk? Hoe inclusiever werken? It is already a collective decision to invite artists, not a one man programming. -Hoe wil ze met zoveel kunstenaars op langere termijn samenwerken? -Hoe wordt beslist en wie beslist of met sommige kunstenaars nog wordt verder gewerkt? -Met hoeveel zal er tegelijk gewerkt worden? -Is dit haalbaar voor de kernleden? -Wat is het argument om 'kernleden' en 'associate' kunstenaars te hebben. (Zeynep sprak van een 'club' die alles beslist en daarvoor een verloning krijgen) de vraag kan in 2 richtingen gaan: kernleden nemen teveel werk op zich met collectieve projecten en geen tijd meer voor eigen werk OF kernleden zorgen goed voor zichzelf en collectieve trajecten zijn opportunitisch? --VRAAG OVER PRODUCTIE: Jubilee's focus is nu gericht op ontwikkeling en reflectie, wat zal er gebeuren met productie?

Katleen: you could also propose Sara (who asked to tell her what to do) to do something else/otherwise. When she teaches she does this in another way.

Kunsthal sent mail saying that Stad Gent can organisie a public moment about the site at Kunsthal Gent, now that archive is gone.
R: sounds like a misunderstanding J: there is no misunderstanding at all.
V: once a project is finished, there is a new sequence. what is grace and julie willingness to contribute? no invitation to contribute? V: Relevant project to discuss within Emptor itself. Look at the economy of what made this project possible. what is the economy of the 'creation'? writing about what is happening is important for further dialogue with the institution and as study case.
